Viewport Overview

In riiForm, there are two viewports; the Default 3D viewport and the Orthogonal View. The Orthogonal View can be accessed at any time by clicking the grid icon in the Utility Tools pane. It also opens by default when using the Orientation Tool in Prepare.

  • Right click is 2 fingers on track pad

Slice Controls - Rotation

  • Click and drag the slider bar to view a rotational slice around the limb. Click “Cor” to jump to the Coronal Plane slice view. Click “Sag” to jump to the Sagittal plane slice view.

Slice Controls - Transverse

  • Click and drag the slider bar to view the slice in the transverse plane. Click “MPT” to jump to the MPT slice view. Click “Dis” to jump to the Distal End slice view. Click “Prox” to jump to the Proximal End slice view.

3D Slice Control View

  • Select the 3D button in the top right of either Slice Control grid to see the 3D model as well as the slice.
 

Snap to Anatomical Views

Note: These are available after the scan enters the Orientation Tool in Prepare.

  • Snap to view buttons - Located at the top of the Utility Tools
    • Click the button to view the model from each anatomical view: Proximal, Distal, Anterior, Posterior, Medial, or Lateral

  • Snap to view cube - Located in the top right of the Viewport
    • Click the side of the cube to view the model from each anatomical view: Proximal, Distal, Anterior, Posterior, Medial, or Lateral

Control Points

Within riiForm, Control Points are used for Selection Area control. When a modification area is active, Control Points and a Selection Area will show. If the modification was made manually using a the brush tool, only the Selection Area will show.

Each Control Point is a circular marker used to control the size and shape of the Selection Area. They can be moved and resized using the following controls:
