Upload an .obj, .stl, .aop, or .ply file type scan to riiForm.

How to Use

  1. Click “Start New Episode of Care”.
  1. Enter the Patient Details

      a. Type in a Patient ID or select from the existing Clinic list.

      b. Create a new Limb Record by selecting the body side, date of limb difference, and clicking “Add New Limb Record”. Or, select an existing Limb Record for that patient.

      Note: riiForm will use the body side and date of limb difference to generate modification suggestions in the Fit workflow. Please ensure these are inputted accurately.

  1. Upload your scan file as an .obj, .stl, .aop, or .ply file type.

      a. Click “Upload a File” and select the file from your devices.

      b. Drag and drop the file into the “Upload a File” box

      c. Click “Generate a QR Code for Compatible Scanner”. Follow the directions on screen to scan the QR code and upload the scan file.

  1. Fill out the Scan & Socket Details
    1. Notion image

      a. Select what has been scanned: Direct to Limb, Over a Liner, Plaster model, a Check Socket, or a Definitive Socket.

      b. Select if the socket being designed is a check socket or definitive.

      c. Select the suspension method, optional.

  1. Optimize the scan for prepare, optional.

      a. Click “Remove Artifacts” to delete parts not touching the main body of the scan,

      b. Depending on how large the scan is, change the resolution to Low, Medium, or High.

      c. Use the “Lasso Select” tool to select and delete any scanning artifacts that are connected to the main body of the scan.

  1. Select “Continue” and work through the Prepare workflow. All scans uploaded in riiForm must go through the Prepare workflow.
