Tool Structure

Tool Structure is the same for all Anatomical Modifications and New Carve/Build Stages if the Modify workflow was completed without using the Fit workflow for suggestions.

 

Utility Bar

Control Point Controls

Add and remove control points. The control points function as they do in the Fit workflow.

Free Hand Select

Use the cursor to select areas on the limb to build or carve. The brush size can be changed using the slider bar or typing in the box.

Smooth

Use a brush to apply local smoothing. The brush size can be changed using the slider bar or typing in the box.

The smooth strength slider sets the strength the brush will smooth. The left side is a lighter smooth, while the right side is stronger, and can create stronger alterations to the scan.

Tool Body

Modification Amounts

Use the slider bar or type in the box to apply the modifications to the red selection area.

Edge Control

Controls the slope of the edge of the modification.

How to Use

Note: Modification suggested and adjusted in Fit can be edited in Modify using control points.

 
  1. Use the Free Hand Select tool or Fit template to apply the red selection area to the limb.
  1. Use the modification slider bar or type in the box to adjust the build/carve.
  1. Adjust the edge contour as needed.
  1. Add new build/carve stages as needed.
