Suggestions
Overview
The Fit workflow is a medical device intended to support prosthetists in the design and fitting of below-knee prosthetic sockets. Fit provides evidence-based modification suggestions based on a historical data set. When entering Fit, the suggestions will be auto-applied in the Viewport based on the general size and shape, maturity of the limb (Limb Record), and the landmarks placed in the Prepare workflow. All suggestions can be adjusted to meet the needs of each patient. Fit is only for use by Certified Prosthetists, Certified Prosthetist Orthotists or those in training under supervision.
Please note, the applied Fit modifications are suggestions. It is recommended a trained prosthetist reviews the modifications as they pertain to each patient.

How to Use

- When entering Fit, suggestions are automatically applied based on a historical data set.
- It is recommended to work from the Global Volume Change tool down, checking the modification suggestion and adjusting as needed for the patient. Use the slider bar or type a value into the input box to change the modification.
- For the anatomical modification, add and remove control points to customize the selection area each modification is applied to. See Viewport & Mouse Controls for more information on control point interactions.
- Once suggestions have been reviewed and adjusted as required, the model needs to be exported to save the design history. This can be done by selecting one of the following. Note: Fit is the only workflow that does not save automatically.
- “Export to Dashboard” - Click this button at the bottom of the workflow. This will save the design to the check socket within the Episode of Care. Use this if the next step in the workflow is Fabricate or if stepping away from riiForm.
- “Manual Modifications” - Click this button at the bottom of the workflow to save the design and enter the Modify workflow. Use this if the design needs any additional modifications or to access more advance tools.
- “Export” - Click this button in Utility Tools to downloads an .STL file of the design to the computer.
- The Fit workflow cannot be re-entered after exiting. All modifications from Fit can be adjusted within the Modify or Adjust Socket Workflows.
