Smooth bumps and refine edges with freeform smooth, or smooth your whole scan with global smoothing.

Note: The entirety of smooth is an optional step that not all scans will require. Therefore, all steps above are optional.

Tool Structure

Utility Bar

Global Smooth

Applies a smooth over the entire scan. The Smooth Strength controls the strength of the Global Smooth.

Reset

Resets all smoothing.

Tool Body

Brush Size (mm)

Sets the brush size of the smoothing brush.

Smooth Strength

Sets the smoothing strength of the smoothing brush. The left side is a lighter smooth, while the right side is stronger, and can create stronger alterations to the scan.

How to Use

Globally smooth the scan by clicking on the Global Smooth button.

Set brush size and smoothing strength of the smoothing brush

Left click and drag your mouse over the scan on the 3D viewer to smooth an area.

Repeat steps 2 to 3 as required.
